It's An APPLE Day!

Normally I like to sleep in on Saturday, as I'm up at 5 am during the week to get ready for work...BUT today was an exception.  I was up and out of the house at 6:30, on my way to North Canton to pick up my brother Tom and then up the expressway to the Apple Store at Legacy Village in Cleveland for a training class.  I've had iMac since Christmas, but I wanted to learn more about how to get around and what this laptop could do.  Tom rode with me and after a cup of coffee at Starbucks, I got in position...up front.  (the gentleman behind me was tall enough to look over me)  The trainer was great and I have pages of information that I'm going to type and share with Tom.  Then a quick trip to Beachwood Mall and home.  Now it's time to look at my notes and try all of the things I learned today in class.

I've heard that learning keeps you young...a goal of mine, staying young!

Thank Goodness for Good Friends

As a parent you always worry about your children, no matter how old they are or where they are!
Kathy called to say that she had car trouble on her way home to Marion from Kristyn's house in Michigan.  Somewhere around Upper Sandusky her car overheated...too far from Dad and Kristyn...she called her best friend Bonnie.  Bonnie's husband Dan drove to the rescue along with the AAA.  Repairs have been made and things seem to be back to normal.  This is a BIG "thanks" to Dan and Bonnie for being there when Kathy needed them.

#1

Born and raised North of Pittsburgh, I'm a "forever" Steelers fan, living in Browns country.  I'm thrilled that we now have our 6th Super Bowl win.... all I can say is Congrats Steelers...way to go!

Finally...#1

I've been working on creating a blog since well before my birthday last August. I think now I might actually hit "publish post".

With the title of my blog you can safely assume that I live in the country. Navarre, Ohio to be exact; on a 30 acre farm with my husband of over 41 years and our horse, Arthur and mule George.  We have lived here a little over a year and a half and continue to enjoy the quiet rural life in Navarre.

Two daughters, Kristyn, married to Mark and mother to Spencer-11 and Connor-5. Kathy, a teacher at River Valley in Marion, Ohio, completes our family.

I can't promise I'll post a lot or often, but when something exciting happens, you'll hear it here!
